For international orders outside India, shipping rates are calculated and shared during our inquiry discussion based on the rug's weight, dimensions, and delivery zone. Please note that customs clearance, local duties, and import taxes are determined by your country's customs office and are the buyer's responsibility.
Yes, all our rugs are made to order. You can select from the existing designs available on our website or send us your own original designs.

The lead time for custom rugs typically ranges from 4 to 24 weeks. This timeline varies based on the weaving technique: hand-tufted custom rugs are typically completed and delivered within 4 to 8 weeks, while hand-knotted custom rugs take between 12 to 24 weeks depending on the dimensions, knot density, and natural sun-drying conditions.
Absolutely. You are welcome to submit your own custom artwork, sketches, or specific design blueprints. Our workshop's design coordinators will review your files, help select correct yarn fibers, and prepare a weaving layout to bring your design safely to life.
Because custom rugs are made exactly to your requested specifications, measurements, and design files, they are non-refundable and non-returnable unless a clear manufacturing defect or workshop error exists. We ask that you carefully review and confirm all architectural layouts and dye details before authorizing production.
Our hand-knotted wool rugs are woven with natural fibers and are fully compatible with radiant underfloor heating systems. For hand-tufted rugs, we recommend keeping underfloor heating temperatures below 26°C (78°F) to protect the natural rubber latex backing from drying out or weakening over time.
Selling rugs online is our craft, and because pictures are our only tool to present our items, we take them very seriously.
We meticulously check every picture for quality and color accuracy as soon as it is captured. Once the entire photoshoot is complete, we run a secondary check on professional displays to make sure the colors are true and exact.
However, please keep in mind that every monitor and screen reproduces colors and hues slightly differently:
- Smartphone Screens: Do not fully trust smartphone screens for absolute precision; mobile displays often artificially boost saturation and contrast to make scenes look vivid, which over-saturates the colors of the rug.
- Laptop & PC Screens: Laptop and computer monitors are much more reliable. We highly recommend viewing our photos on a laptop or PC monitor to ensure the best color accuracy.
- Apple MacBooks: MacBook and iMac screens have incredibly precise, color-accurate color spaces. If you have access to one, viewing the images there will yield the truest possible representation of the rug's colors.
Absolutely. Pure wool fibers contain natural lanolin oil, making them highly resilient and naturally stain-resistant against pet accidents. For homes with pets, we recommend choosing cut-pile rugs (knotted or tufted) rather than looped-pile configurations, as pet claws can get caught in looped weaves.
In order to preserve the beauty and durability of your rug, we recommend following these core steps:
- Vacuum frequently: At least once a week to prevent dirt embedding in the pile.
- Treat stains immediately: Blot up spills with a clean dry cloth quickly before they dry.
- Professional cleaning: Take the rug to a specialized dry cleaner only if absolutely necessary.
