1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Indo Knots. By accessing this website or engaging with our custom rug ordering portals, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the relationship between Indo Knots and any visitor, homeowner, interior designer, or architect.
2. Intellectual Property and Designs
The patterns, photographs, illustrations, typography, and specific loom configurations shown on this website are the intellectual property of Indo Knots and our master weavers in Bhadohi.
No portion of our curated designs, weave structures, or trade catalogues may be reproduced, sold, or distributed without our explicit written authorization. For bespoke and collaborative projects, the intellectual ownership of custom patterns will be specified in individual design agreements.
3. Handcrafted Variations (Characteristics, Not Flaws)
Indo Knots produces authentic, hand-tufted and hand-knotted rugs. Because every piece is colored by hand in our dye vats and tied stitch-by-stitch on timber looms, subtle variations in hue, line definition, pile density, and exact measurements are inherent features of the handcrafting process. These micro-variations distinguish authentic loom-woven textiles from machine-loomed replicas and are celebrated as unique expressions of our craft.
4. Trade Accounts & Project Agreements
Trade privileges are granted exclusively to qualified design professionals who submit verified business documentation. We reserve the right to review and revoke Trade accounts if trade pricing or sampling terms are misused. Full pricing, lead times, shipping duties, and deposit schedules for large-scale custom project contracts are outlined during formal quoting.
5. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Uttar Pradesh, India. Any disputes arising from or relating to our craftsmanship services, online content, or direct workshop sales will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the local courts of Bhadohi and Varanasi.
